Halfnorth makes coffee that brings people together.
We are built around those four groups. We grow by repeating a model that works, never by lowering the bar to get there faster.
Five pillars.
You should never wait long, never wonder what's in the can, and never pay for a name. Every drink is the same drink on a Monday as on a Thursday, made to order in a clear can so you can see exactly what you got.
Working the cart should be a real job, not a favor. That means training that actually teaches something, pay that respects the early mornings, and a say in how the cart runs. The first hire matters as much as the first customer.
We buy from people whose product we'd put our name on, and we pay them on time. Good coffee, good tea, and good milk are the whole business, so the people supplying them are partners, not line items.
A cart borrows its spot. We leave every location cleaner than we found it, follow the rules of the campus that hosts us, and treat the people who walk past as neighbors, whether or not they buy anything.
Every decision gets asked one more question: does this respect the next generation and the planet they inherit? Ice sealed in the can instead of a plastic cup, a lid, and a straw. A cart pushed by hand. A business built to still be worth running in ten years.
Hi, I'm Collin.
I'm 18, I'm from Durango, Colorado, and I moved to Burlington with a cold brew recipe and a plan.
I started my first business at 15, renting oxygen bars to events around the Four Corners. Since then I've had a project going more or less nonstop, and I've cared about every one of them. Halfnorth is the one I get to build in person, on a campus, one can at a time.
It started as a canned coffee idea in my kitchen. It turned into a cart because I'd rather hand you the can myself, watch you crack it, and hear what you think. That feedback loop is the whole point.
